Dosher Music School was founded in 1995 by John Dosher who has been teaching piano/keyboard, and percussion for over 30 years.

Dosher Music is one of the world's largest Alvarez guitar dealers.

Dosher Music offers lessons in guitar, piano, keyboard, woodwinds (flute, clarinet, and saxophone), drums, percussion, bass, and strings (violin, viola, cello, and orchestral bass).

The store, originally founded to accommodate students, has grown to be one of the premier music stores of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

The store offers guitars, keyboards, woodwind instruments, drums, basses, violins and violas. Accessory sales include reeds, tuners, metronomes, strings, harmonicas, amplifiers, and sheet music.

It feature such brands as Alvarez, Alvarez Yairi, Seagull, Crate, Godin, D'addario, Danelectro, Hughes & Kettner, Elixir, GHS, DR, Casio, Vandoren, Dean Markley, and more.

Additionally, Dosher Music offers guitar repairs by Reid Rogers, former head technician for Jackson Guitars and specializing in Floyd Rose bridge style electric guitars.
